It’s easy to slip into trying to sell your cause to a potential donor if every dollar matters. If you are desperate for donations you’ll do whatever it takes to bring in the dollars including selling without serving. What if you “served” your potential donor and come without wanting anything in return?

If you help others, they will want to help you.
